(Phoenix, AZ) -- Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says it's "foolish" that a Canadian court has decided to release a teenager who has threatened to kill him.
The Sheriff's office says the 16-year-old from Alberta has emailed seven threats to Joe Arpaio and his family. The threats described in detail how the boy would use guns, bombs and knives to "kill them all."
Arpaio says he's not only worried about his family, but is concerned about what could occur in Canada. The boy is currently on home detention and has a court date scheduled for next week.
